Donations

The Hunger Relief Fund for North Korea channels 100% of all donations to relief programs providing food and medical aid directly to those in need in North Korea. Donors can choose to designate their contributions either for food (including rice, seed, and agricultural supplies) or medicine in the following way:

Donations for Food
Donations for Medicine
We are collecting money to purchase seed and other agricultural supplies that will be sent directly to farms in North Korea. This ensures that all food aid reaches its intended recipients, and helps to develop sustainable agricultural techniques. The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), a Nobel Peace Prize-winning Quaker organization, has a long and reputable history of humanitarian work in North Korea.  We are collecting money to purchase medical supplies to address basic medical needs in North Korea. The United Nations has noted that North Korean doctors lack essential medicines such as antibiotics, bandages, and pain killers. Without these supplies, people are dying of curable diseases. Our donations will be sent to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to support their medical relief efforts in North Korea.
